Theory of dying

Theory of dying:  The procedure by which dye tufts enters into the textile goods……. (4 steps) 1. Dye particle come to the fabric surface from dye bath. 2. Fabric/textile materials absorbed the dye molecule from the outer surface. 3. Migration of dye molecules to everywhere of the fiber molecules. 4. Anchoring or fixing the dye molecules to the fiber molecules by forming hydrogen on covalent bond.

Difference between Dyeing & printing

Difference between Dyeing & printing: Dyeing Printing The process by which a textile materials is to be changed physically or chemically so that it looks mono uniform colored is called dyeing. The process in which different types of colors are used to make a particular design on the textile goods is called printing. For dying, dyes are applied on the whole fabric equally. For printing, dyes are applied on the fabric localizedly to produced desired design.   Fabric, yarn and fiber can be colored by Dying. Printing only can colored dye fabric. Dyes are applied on both side of fabric. Dyes are applied on only one side of fabric. Only one dye is used for dyeing. One more dyes are used for printing. Precise temperature should be maintain during dyeing.   It is unnecessary to maintain precise temperature during printing.
